Believe it, or leave it... I have been jumping out of an aeroplane just now. I'm not joking. My hands are still shaking and my brain is not working properly, I feel funny in my head and my stomach... I'm thrilled!

With a tiny airplane we took off a grass field, going higher and higher with amazing views of the Abel Tasman National Park, the ocean, farmlands and snow-capped mountains. I was so excited. I couldn't believe I was really going to jump off a plane. That's insane... it's crazy- but that's me!

Reaching 13000 feet (about 4000m) they opened the door saying "emergency exit" and there I was... hanging out of the plane, just being strapped to my skydive master. There was no way back. 3..2..1..Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.. !!!!!! This feeling was incredible and totally unbelievable. For about 50 seconds we were just falling. 50 seconds freefall that felt like 20 seconds the most. The brain just switched off. Overload! Blackout. Falling at a speed of 200km/h you can hardly move. I tried to shake hands with my camera man (Yes, I got it all on video!) while falling, we pulled faces,..but most of the time I've just been screaming and smiling. We were even falling through the clouds. Then the skydive master pulled the parachute and from that moment on we were flying relaxed over the ocean and the beautiful national park. Fantastic views and my brain started working again...very slowly. But hey, wasn't this going to get boring?- Let's go spin in circles. That was fun.

Slowly the ground started coming closer and closer...and here I was, back in reality. But it didn't feel like it. My brain just wouldn't work properly and I'm having a hard time writing this now, a few hours afterwards. The adrenalin is still driving my body crazy. Wow. This was really unbelievable. I cannot describe all these feelings and thoughts properly...you should try it yourself!
